Bugatti T39

The 1.5ltr GP formula was a hot bed of racing in the 1920’s. The T39 in all its guises was Bugatti’s answer to the formula and a very successful one. The T39 ran in sports car form and in Voiturette formula but became the first GP Bugatti to be fitted with a supercharger. The T35 and T51 all use T39 part numbers for its super charger and drive gear train calling back to this fabulous model. Thanks to David Hands for enrusting Tula to restore Ted Lobb’s old car back to the track after so many years off the road.
