Mrs Wilkinson has not been asked to stop baking for charity but rather to register with the Food and Safety team, as required by law, and to follow the guidance we have issued to her.
"If found to be selling cakes that, for example, contain foreign bodies or cause food poisoning, Mrs Wilkinson would be committing an offence and if found guilty then she could face a fine of up to or face imprisonment of up to a year.
